ARTIST

Sarah Chandy is a photographer and journalist based in London. In her photography she works on a range of long form projects that explore representations of women, identity, community and self.

Sarah holds a Masters Degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication. She trained on the Professional Photography Course at the London Institute of Photography (LIoP).

Her 20-year career in journalism includes ten years working in India for The Hindu and Frontline, where she published a range of long form investigations, reportage and daily news. She has since worked for Springer Nature, writing on emerging science in the Arab world and broadcasting on advances in life sciences.

Sarah read History at the University of Cambridge also has an MA in Investigative Journalism from City University, London.
